My Name is Uliana McClanahan, I have been a Real Estate Professional since 2006. I acquired my Brokers License (2008) as well as several designations to include, Graduate Realtor of the Institute of Alabama (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS),  Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Sellers Presentative Specialist (SRS), American Warrior Real Estate Professional, and earned the Realtors Commitment to Excellence (C2EX).

I am originally from Germany receiving the honor of U.S. Citizenship in 1976. I attended college at the University of Maryland, European Division. I married the most wonderful man in 1981. We have two Sons with wonderful wives, and five grandchildren. We lived in the Ft. Benning/Columbus GA area for 8 years and have resided in the Wiregrass/Ft. Novosel area since 1989.

There is nothing better than enjoying life to the fullest and appreciating every blessing that is bestowed upon you. Hard work and dedication to whatever endeavor I have taken on has given me the opportunity to excel in my career. I take great joy in being a people person and helping my client’s dreams come true when selling or buying their home.

I am originally from Ohio. My husband and I were stationed at Ft Rucker in 1989 with the 46 Engineers Hooah! I have been a military spouse and know the challenges that the families face.

I decided to wait to pursue my real love and career passion until 1999 after my children were older.

My husband retired from Ft Rucker in 2001. We stayed because we love this area and the vision of the town. Plus the mild winter weather here is great! Now Alabama is “our home”

I have been a full time agent in the area for over 16 years I have sold property from Troy to Dothan to Samson and everywhere in between. I have assisted first time home buyers, sellers, builders, investors, farmers, home flippers and home owners in distress. I’ve even worked with a professional Basketball player! I have assisted several buyers build their custom homes from the plans stage to finish.

I have always followed the philosophy to treat people with the respect, skill and care I would like to be treated with. I have been so blessed to work with tons of great people that I can call friends

Let me be your REALTOR®.  I love working with buyers and sellers and helping them with their real estate needs.  Those needs differ from family to family and property to property, but one thing remains the same, my commitment to service.  It is very important for my clients to know that I represent them to the fullest extent and their concerns are my concerns.

I have the experiences afforded me by being a military spouse but have lived much of my life in Coffee County, Alabama. I can relate to the trials and tribulations of buying and selling and making a new place home while understanding the importance of becoming part of a viable community and all it has to offer.

I am so happy to make your acquaintance.  Please allow me a few moments to introduce myself.

Hmm…how does one begin to extol ones virtues?  I know, I will start with what makes me most virtuous, my family.  This is my true support group and by that I mean they truly support me, keeping me both grounded and reaching for the stars.  My family consists of my son 28 year old Jacob and 30 year old Joshua, Daughter in Law- Kayla, granddaughter Jayla Rae & grandsons Silas & Micah. (Jayla, Silas and Micah are the ones that keeps me reaching for the stars).

Now that we’ve talked about my passion let’s talk about what I love and that’s Real Estate.  I feel blessed for the enrichment and fulfillment that my career has given me.  Whether it is finding a young couple their first home or the smile on the seller’s face when we leave the closing table, the reward is a lift in spirit that after 20 years in the business has left me literally joyful about what I do.  I take this serious too. I have my Broker’s License, Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR Designation), Graduate of Realtor Institute (GRI Designation), Military Relocation Professional (MRP Designation) Member of the Wiregrass Board of Realtors (President of WBOR in 2014), Member of the Dothan Board of Realtors, Member of National Association of Realtors, and Member of the Alabama Association of Realtors.  I have received several Awards among which are: Coldwell Banker Humanitarian Award, Coldwell Banker International Sterling Society 2009, and CB Diamond Society from 2010 to present and The Wiregrass Board of Realtors Bob Meeks Award.

I learned early that to be a successful Real Estate Agent one had to be involved in the Community to ensure the Community was able to provide success. I enjoy serving & assisting Women Who Care, which is an outreach ministry in Enterprise. In addition, serving High Pointe Church’s various Dream Team positions is a pure joy.

Married to my husband for 37 years, who retired from the military after 21 years active duty and civil service after 20 years. We have 3 children and 4 grandchildren, one of whom is currently stationed at Ft. Campbell.

I have 20 years civil service assisting soldier’s and their families relocate to their next duty station from Germany by providing as much information as possible to initiate a smooth move.

Have made many military and civilian moves enabling me to gain extensive knowledge to complete these moves as smoothly as possible.

Have been a realtor for approximately 14 years in between our moves back and forth to Europe.
