Peter my husband  and best friend retired from the Safety Center here at Ft. Rucker. We arrived in Enterprise in 1994, built our first home, and I went to work for a custom builder. I got my Real Estate license at that time but continued my career in new construction. Long story short… That experience put me where I am today, the proud owner of Team Linda Simmons. I love my job!

We have three grown children, two sons, a daughter, 11 grandchildren, and 5 adorable great grands that keep us busy in our spare time.

Born into the adventurous life of an army brat, I found my home when my father retired in Enterprise, Alabama back in 1994. Embracing the sense of place and community and following in my mother’s footsteps, I ventured into the world of real estate in 2009, quickly finding my passion. By 2011, I had earned my Broker’s license, paving the way for a fulfilling journey as the Qualifying Broker for Team Linda Simmons Real Estate.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I cherish my role as a devoted mother to three wonderful children—two sons and a daughter. Time has graced me with the honor of being a proud grandmother to two precious souls, Mariah (3) and my oldest son’s newest addition, Brayden. I was born and raised in Enterprise and graduated from Enterprise High School in 2001. After graduation I attended Enterprise State Junior College on a Fine Arts Scholarship, where I received my Associate’s Degree in Arts and Science. I transferred to Auburn University and majored in Business Management. I graduated from Auburn in 2005 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

In 2006 I returned to Enterprise to work for a local real estate company doing information technology work and website design. I received my real estate license in April and immediately began selling property. Since then I have closed over 300 transactions in existing homes, new construction, custom built homes, lots/land, multifamily dwellings, investment and commercial properties. I have been around real estate the majority of my life and love what I do. I truly enjoy assisting people achieve the “American Dream”. My goal is to serve customers and clients with knowledge, hard work, and integrity.

I have extensive training and experience in computer science and use that to benefit my clients. I am originally from Ohio. My husband and I were stationed at Ft Rucker in 1989 with the 46 Engineers Hooah! I have been a military spouse and know the challenges that the families face.

I decided to wait to pursue my real love and career passion until 1999 after my children were older.

My husband retired from Ft Rucker in 2001. We stayed because we love this area and the vision of the town. Plus the mild winter weather here is great! Now Alabama is “our home”

I have been a full time agent in the area for over 16 years I have sold property from Troy to Dothan to Samson and everywhere in between. I have been an Enterprise and Coffee County resident since 1991, being station at Fort Novosel. Following retirement from the Army in 1998 I was proud to call Enterprise my home. My wife, Jan, is nearly a lifelong resident of the Coffee County. We have 5 children and 12 grandchildren.
